This Civic Engagement Center employee will be responsible for: Creating documents for on- and off-campus publications, proofreading and revising documents for public distribution, and writing grants in a writing team with guidance from professional staff members.
The individual selected for this position will have excellent writing skills. He or she must have already-established knowledge of correct grammar and punctuation usage as well as an ability to write collaboratively in teams.
Purpose of Position:
The person in this position will serve to expedite the process of proofreading written documents for public distribution. The staff member will also support the Center's long-term goals of diversifying revenue lines through grant writing and conveying the success of the Center and CWU's civically engaged scholars.
This is an opportunity to write in a professional capacity for publication and garner new competencies (e.g., grant writing, technical writing, interviewing skills) while writing in a collaborative team.
