Kittitas Connect: Olmstead Place State Park Fall Clean Up

Event Description Get out in the fresh country air and help preserve the past for future enjoyment. Work with the Heritage Gardeners to maintain decades-old gardens and spruce up Washington’s oldest working farm. Olmstead Farm, is one of the first homesteads in Kittitas Valley, and they need your helping hands. Equipment, transportation and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Check in will be in the CLCE SURC 256 (upstairs). Volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather (sun protection, warm/cool clothes, etc.), wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES and CLOTHES you don't mind getting dirty.

  • General Volunteer

    Volunteers will take part in a variety of activities including weeding and other outdoor work to help maintain Kittitas County's oldest farm. Volunteers should dress in clothes they don't mind getting dirty, wear closed toed shoes and come ready for a great time!
