Education Career Fair

Event Description The 2019 CWU Education Career Fair is an opportunity for Education students and alumni to meet recruiters and administrators from throughout Washington State and surrounding areas in a small, friendly setting prior to the large WEA career fairs.
Volunteers will be helping with Employer Assistance, Student Check-in, and Clean-up. All volunteers are asked to be dressed in either business casual or professional dress.
Volunteer check-in will be outside the SURC Ballroom.

Volunteer Positions

  • Employer Assistance

    Volunteers will assist employers with unloading their displays and moving them, in carts, up to the SURC Ballroom. Business casual or professional dress is required for all volunteers at this event, but comfortable shoes are encouraged for those working Employer Assistance, since this task involves a lot of walking.

  • Student Check-in

    Volunteers will assist attendees with checking their backpacks and swiping in to the event. Business casual or professional dress is required for all volunteers at this event.

  • Clean-up and Employer Assistance

    Volunteers will assist employers with loading their displays into carts and taking them downstairs to the curbside drop-off; they may also assist Career Services staff with general event clean-up. Business casual or professional dress is required for all volunteers at this event, but comfortable shoes are encouraged for those working Clean-up and Employer Assistance, as these tasks involve a lot of walking.
