City: Storm Drain Stenciling

Event Description All storm drainage systems, nation wide, are for the collection of rainwater off of private parking lots and public roadways. Whatever washes off of private property into the streets, ends up in the nearest stream, lake or river untreated. Volunteers will help educate the public about this matter. Volunteers will glue storm drain sticker at each drain so the public knows not to put pollutants into the drain system. Overall, you are doing your part to help keep the Yakima River and its tributaries cleaner.

*Volunteers will check in at 8:30 A.M. in the CLCE located in SURC 256 (upstairs)*
