Earth Month: Olmstead Place State Park Spring Cleanup

Event Description Olmstead Place State Park in Kittitas Valley needs a hand with maintenance projects to help preserve the past for future generations. The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement and Washington State Parks are seeking volunteers to come out in honor of Earth Month and enjoy the fresh air while assisting a Kittitas Valley landmark. Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes.

Volunteer check-in will be in the SURC East Patio at 9:30 a.m.

Lunch, FREE t-shirt, and transportation will be provided for all volunteers.

    Volunteers will work to help preserve Olmstead Place State Park by participating in various restoration projects including distributing wood chips, spreading compost, and weeding. Instructions and materials will be provided.
