Kittitas Connect: Olmstead Clean Up

Event Description Get out in the fresh country air and help preserve the past for future enjoyment. Help place new historic signs around Olmstead Place State Park, work with the Heritage Gardeners to maintain decades-old gardens and spruce up Washington’s oldest working farm. Olmstead Farm, one of the first homesteads in Kittitas Valley, needs your helping hand. Equipment, lunch and snacks will be provided for all volunteers. Check in will be in the SURC Pit.

Volunteer Positions

  • General Volunteer

    Volunteers will take part in a variety of activities include placing new historic signs around Olmstead Place State Park, working with the Heritage Gardeners to maintain decades-old gardens and paths, and sprucing up Washington’s oldest working farm. Volunteers need to dress in yard work appropriate clothes and come ready for a great time! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Check in will be in the SURC Pit.
