| Description | Students agree to do 300 hours of community service within a year and are awarded a $1000 scholarship from Americorps. Monthly time logs track students' progress. Students choose activities that interest them and arrange for a site supervisor at their chosen place for volunteering. They will also participate in a few group projects with other Students In Service. |
