Volunteers will join a team of active students to mobilize CWU students to promote democracy in action through political and electoral programs, civic engagement initiatives, and issue- dialog and discussion. Volunteers will assist in: - Preparing and hosting an Electoral Action Training for CWU students. - Organizing a collaborative effort with a variety volunteer groups to coordinate a voter registration campaign - Develop and implement the Democracy Center event to raise awareness of electoral and democratic processes, and to energize students, faculty, and staff to participate in the Fall, 2008 Election. |
