Description In Spring, 2009, Central Washington University will be bringing the national Human Rights Awareness Tour to campus to raise awareness and action for current human rights issues and social injustices.

Part of the Human Rights tour will include a No Sweat Fashion Show, where University students will showcase garments and apparel that were ethically produced. Co-Curricular volunteers will work closely with the CEC staff for at least one quarter to design the fashion show, market ethical merchandise to students, recruit and cast student models, and spread the message of ethical consumerism.

If you are interested in gaining real-life experience in fashion merchandising and event planning, sign up online and then contact Stephanie Oberlander at the CEC to schedule a programming meeting.
