Description How would YOU like to be a MOVER AND SHAKER? University Housing would like to invite you, as a special member of our Wildcat student population, to become an official “Mover and Shaker” for Fall Quarter opening day on Friday, 09/19/08. This event is a great way for returning students to welcome the new class to campus! All students are welcome to volunteer, regardless of living on campus or off campus!

LOCATION, TIME, AND DATE OF EVENT:

Group Meeting and Training:
Day and Date: Thursday, 09/18/08
Time: 5:00pm
Location: Barto Lounge – you will find out which residence halls you are helping as well as receive your spiffy t-shirt

New Student Move In:
Day and Date: Friday, 09/19/08
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm (with shifts in 2-hour increments; multiple shifts are appreciated)
Location: All across the CWU campus

If you are interested in this service activity, please click on “sign up for this activity” and contact Barbara Hinchliff, Movers and Shakers Coordinator, at University Housing. She will need to know the following:

1. Name and Student ID Number
2. E-Mail Address
3. Preferred Daytime Phone
4. T-Shirt Size
5. Fall Quarter Room Assignment (if living on campus)
6. Area of Preference (North Campus, Central Campus, or South Campus)
7. Hours between 9:00am and 4:00pm in which you are available to volunteer

Note: Residence hall check in for “Movers and Shakers” living on campus will be on Thursday, 09/18/08 between 3-5pm. Your early arrival needs to be confirmed and arranged with University Housing. If you do not register at one of the check-in stations on Friday, 09/19/08, you will be charged a one-day early arrival fee.
