| Description | Are you a recreation and tourism major or a health and exercise science major? The Adult Activity Center here in Ellensburg is looking for service interns for summer quarter. You would be needed about ten hours a week with a flexible schedule that can work around your summer classes and/or job between 8am and 4pm. They do ask that you be available for partial mornings. Recreation and tourism majors would have the opportunity to develop and implement trips and tour programs for senior citizens who utilize the center in addition to creating and implementing special events and activities at the center. Health and exercise science majors would have the opportunity to create and implement a series of health workshops for the seniors in addition to promoting and advertising current health programs at the center. This is an excellent learning opportunity for you to develop leadership skills and participate in experiences directly related to your major!
